Tyrese Gibson Blames Dwayne Johnson For "F9" Movie Getting Pushed Back

A new feud is revving up on the "Fast and Furious" set.

"F9," the next installment of the wildly popular franchise, had its release date postponed earlier this week, and Tyrese Gibson is placing the blame on his co-star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

The actor, 38, took to Instagram Wednesday to blast the "Moana" star for apparently selfish behavior, and alluded to a potential standalone film featuring Johnson's character Hobbs as the reason the movie was pushed from April 2019 to April 2020.

"#PSA Congratulations to @TheRock and your brother in law aka 7 bucks producing partner @hhgarcia41 for making the fast and the furious franchise about YOU," Gibson wrote. "And like you, DJ even if they call I will not be deleting this post - Gn folks see you in 2020 April #FastFamily right? Nah… it's about #TeamDwayne #3yrs will it be worth the wait? #NoShaw just Hobbs will this be another #Baywatch? Guys guys just relax I'm just a passionate film critic."

The scathing post comes just one month after Gibson previously appealed to Johnson on Instagram regarding the spinoff speculation, and urged him not to turn his back on the "Fast" family.

"If you move forward with that #Hobbs Movie you will have purposely ignored the heart to heart moment we had in my sprinter," Gibson commented on Instagram in September. "I don't wanna hear from you until you remember what we talked about. I'm on your timeline cause you're not responding to my text messages - #FastFamily is just that a family…….. We don't fly solo."

Johnson himself ignited his own feud with a fellow co-star last year with a long Instagram rant that appeared to call out Vin Diesel as "chicken s--t."

Diesel later dismissed the feud as an argument blown out of proportion by the media.

"I don't think the world realizes how close we are, in a weird way," Diesel said in April. "I know he appreciates how much I work this franchise. In my house, he's Uncle Dwayne."
