Tyra Banks Quits Her Talk Show ‘FABLife’ After Two Months

Tyra Banks is no longer in the running to host “FABLife” — by her own choice.

The “America’s Next Top Model” star announced Friday that she was stepping down as co-host and executive producer of her freshman talk show produced by Disney/ABC.

"This is a very difficult decision, and necessary,” she said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter about her decision to focus on TYRA Beauty, her new cosmetics company.

She also explained her surprising decision in an Instagram post titled "Follow Your Fire."

"I've made an executive decision to keep following my heart and spend more time focusing on my army of entrepreneurs, my Beautytainers, so we can bring the power of transformation to people everywhere," she wrote.

Banks is wasting no time in focusing on her latest venture: she has already tweeted a job posting seeking recruits for her company's sales team.

The 41-year-old dropped out of “FABLife" only two months after the daytime gabfest premiered in mid-September.

According to THR, she will remain on board as a producer through December, but there are no plans to replace her on the panel, which also includes Chrissy Teigen, Joe Zee, Leah Ashley and Lauren Makk.

Besides bidding adieu to the “FABLife,” the former supermodel will also conclude her 12-year run as the host of “America’s Next Top Model.” The reality competition will air its series finale in December.
