Tyler—who released his last two albums Chromakopia and Don’t Tap the Glass in 2024 and 2025, respectively—recently changed his Instagram bio to read, “Satchmo, Sag Harbor.” The subtle change sparked speculation among his most ardent fans, with some believing that he could be working on a new record inspired by the work of jazz legend Louis Armstrong, whose nickname was Satchmo, and the Sag Harbor village of New York, which garnered a reputation as a sanctuary during the era of Jim Crow.
