Tyler, The Creator's 'CHROMAKOPIA' Jumps 112 Spots To Top 5 After Reissue

Tyler, The Creator’s CHROMAKOPIA is back in the top five on the Billboard 200 albums chart more than a year after its original release. In the next chart update, you’ll find Tyler’s acclaimed eighth studio album at No. 5, marking a remarkable jump of 112 positions. Prior to this week’s leap, the album was at No. 117, having spent 53 (now 54) total weeks on the chart. The album opened at No. 1 in November of last year, ultimately spending multiple weeks in the top spot and landing at No. 2 on Complex's ranking of the best albums of 2024. In October of this year, fans were given a reissue of the album featuring the streaming addition of the track “Mother. In a note to fans commemorating the reissue’s release, Tyler revealed that he had originally intended for CHROMAKOPIA to be his “last album for a very long time,” adding that he was planning to “disappear and only pop out for movie roles” in the interim. Tyler’s plans ultimately shifted, with CHROMAKOPIA follow-up DON’T TAP THE GLASS arriving less than a year after its predecessor. CHROMAKOPIA is vying for Album of the Year at the 2026 Grammys.
