The handwritten lyrics of Tupac Shakur’s 1996 recording of “Catchin’ Feelings” are on sale for $35,800, according to TMZ.
Celebrity memorabilia site, Moments in Time (the same company selling a high school lover letter written by Pac) obtained the lyrics from a former employee at the studio where Pac recorded the track. The employee apparently held on to the keepsake for years, before MIT scooped them up.
Pac recorded “Catching Feelings” before his death in 1996, though it appears on the 2002 posthumous release, Better Dayz.
Next Tuesday (Sept. 13) marks the 20th anniversary of the rap legend’s death.
