It's all over but the shouting for Broadway's "Holler If Ya Hear Me."
The Tupac Shakur musical will close on Sunday, producers announced.
The show will have played 38 performances and 17 previews at the Palace Theatre, where the orchestra had been reconfigured for the show.
The early closing of the $8 million musical comes as no surprise. It has struggled to find an audience since day one.
"Holler" hoped to bring new audiences to Broadway with Shakur's hip-hop and rap rhythms.
But the musical directed by Tony winner Kenny Leon opened to a generally poor critical reception.
Several slammed the story by Todd Kreidler, which was a generic tale of inner-city life and not Shakur's own dramatic and tragic life story.
"It saddens me that due to the financial burdens of Broadway, I was unable to sustain this production longer in order to give it time to bloom on Broadway," producer Eric L. Gold said in a statement.
