Travis Scott Cooperating With NYPD After Allegedly Punching Sound Man

Travis Scott’s team says he is cooperating after he was sought by the New York Police Department for an incident at a Manhattan nightclub. NYPD was reportedly looking for Scott after he allegedly punched a sound engineer and caused thousands of dollars in damage. Scott argued with the engineer in the early morning hours. The situation soon escalated, culminating in the rapper allegedly punching the engineer in the face. An official report refers to the incident as an assault and criminal mischief  The victim, identified only as Mark, Scott flipped him off before he punched him in the head,  I was trying to tell him to lower it so it sounded good for the performance,” he told the outlet from a New Jersey hospital. “But he just stuck his middle finger in my face, so I lowered the monitor a little bit so I could talk to him, and that’s when he ran around the speaker and attacked me. Mark also said his “neck is f**ked up. My arm is tingling. I have pins and needles going down it. There's multiple videos that show Scott at the club, clearly upset with someone in the DJ booth. Minutes before the attack, he pushed someone in the chest (presumably the sound engineer), yelling, “Back the f**k off.” A witness told the outlet that Scott had taken over DJing at the club, and he got angry after someone lowered the volume on his playlist. that the ordeal caused “a big commotion between Travis’ security and club security.” They told the outlet that after the punch, Scott “took the phone from one fan,” and “threw the phone on the floor.
