Travis Scott has announced the second-annual Astroworld in Houston, returning NRG Park on Nov. 9.
The multi-stage music festival will be curated by Scott himself in his hometown. While the full music lineup is yet to be revealed, Scott is confirmed as the festival’s headlining performer.
This year’s Astroworld Festival will mark Scott’s only North American performance currently announced for the second half of 2019.
The second annual Astroworld Festival will take place across the street from the former home of AstroWorld, an amusement park opened in downtown Houston in 1968. AstroWorld was originally built to complement the nearby Astrodome, the world's first multi-purpose domed sports arena. The festival seeks to again bring back the nostalgia of AstroWorld for Houston residents and travelers alike.
Astrowrold 2019 will follow Scott’s Wish You Were Here North American tour earlier this spring as well as the rapper’s new 85-minute Netflix documentary, Look Mom I Can Fly, which includes footage from the inaugural festival event last November.
