Oakland, California rap star Too $hort was arrested in Boise Idaho, after he was involved in a fight during a performance early Thursday morning (July 15th).
According to reports, Too $hort and another man fought with security guards, after they allegedly refused to let several underage girls backstage at the Knitting Factory.
Too $hort, 44, and his associate allegedly became irate and began kicking and punching three employees at the nightclub.
The rapper, born Todd Shaw, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor battery, while his associate, Michael Walton, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor battery.
Too $hort and Walton have been released on bond.
Last year, Too $hort was busted twice in one month, for DUI in Las Vegas after police stopped him for speeding, possessing marijuana and “exhibition of power” for burning rubber.
