T.I. continues to explore new avenues in entertainment. The emcee was recently a guest on Sirius’ Shade 45 where he revealed that he’s producing his own animated series. “Tip” explains, quote, “[It's] a cartoon…called ‘Lil Homies.’ I may do, like, voice over [work]…like a narrator.” “Lil Homies” is currently without a network, but T.I. says he still plans to push forward with the show. “Lil Homies” isn’t T.I.’s first experience as a producer. The “Got Your Back” rapper also served as one of the producers on his upcoming film, “Takers,” which he says was a lot of work. He tells MTV News, quote, “I lost sleep to say the least. I increased my responsibilities and just basically sacrificed my time. Just sacrificed in every way possible whenever necessary.” T.I.’s “Takers” — which also stars Chris Brown, Paul Walker, and Matt Dillon — opens in theaters on Friday.
