THIS IS SO SAD! BRITTANY MURPHY'S 911 TAPE IS RELEASED!

LOS ANGELES - A mother's unspeakable agony is laid bare in the gut-wrenching 911 call heralding the death of actress Brittany Murphy.

"My daughter's passed out," Sharon Murphy sobs on the frantic eight-minute tape released by the Los Angeles Fire Department Friday. "They're doing mouth to mouth. Please get here quick. Please! She's not moving!"

The hysterical mom tells the operator that her daughter isn't breathing as Brittany's husband, Simon Monjack, tries in vain to revive her.

"She just threw up tons of stuff. Tons and tons of water," Sharon Murphy says, barely able to speak through her tears.

"Brittany, please come back!" she wails.

The operator calmly asks if anyone saw what happened to the 32-year-old "Clueless" star.

"No ... She was dizzy. She couldn't walk right. She's had a cold," Sharon Murphy says. "Oh my God!"

Asked if Brittany was taking any medication, her mother replies: "What? No. No."

The operator tries several times to coach Sharon Murphy and Monjack through the chest compressions. Monjack is heard counting in the background.

"That's too slow. It's got to be a little faster than that," the operator says.

"He's counting every other pump," Sharon explains. "Don't stop, honey. Don't stop!"

The desperate mom even turns to Brittany's prized Maltese, Clara, for help.

"What number are you at, honey? Clara, what number is daddy at?" she asks.

Paramedics eventually arrived but it was too late. The actress was pronounced dead at a local hospital Dec. 20, the morning of her collapse.

An official cause of death is pending toxicology tests expected to take weeks.

Monjack told the Daily News that Murphy did not take anything that would have killed her.

"I'm confident it wasn't an overdose," he told The News. "My wife did not take anything on the morning of her death that would have caused her to be sick or ill, let alone die."

Investigation notes obtained by TMZ.com said several powerful prescriptions were found in Murphy's home, including the anti-seizure medication Topamax, anti-anxiety medications Klonopin and Ativan, pain relievers Vicoprofen and hydrocodone, and depression medication Fluoxetine.

Murphy's family laid her to rest at a funeral service on Dec. 24 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills.
