THIS IS LAME! CHANEL OFFERS FAKE TATTOOS OF THEIR LOGO FOR $75 DOLLARS A POP!

Devotion to the high-end fashion label Chanel will soon be skin deep.
Peel-and-stick tattoos, featuring Chanel's logo, go on sale in March. They'll set devotees back an eye-popping $75 via the company's Web site beginning next month.

Even Chanel fans said they'd have to think long and hard before coughing up that kind of dough.

Each temporary Chanel tattoo works just like their cereal box counterparts. Packets contain five small sheets in various Gothic designs that last two or three days depending on where you stick it.

"They look nice, if you have the money for it," said A.J. Panzica, 19, a student from Paramus, N.J.

Last summer, Panzica got a fake tattoo of a troll on his biceps.

"It was an awesome troll and it only cost 25 cents from a vending machine," he said.

The tattoo designs are similar to skin art worn by models at the label's runway show in Paris and feature jewelry, cherry blossoms and a blinged-out bird - sprinkled with Chanel logos.

Logos on the skin rubbed some the wrong way.

"It's like you're a billboard for Chanel, but without getting paid," said Matt Fabian, 21, a construction worker from Suffolk County.

"Coming from someone who has real tattoos, this is lame."
