Automatic gunfire littered a Brooklyn street Sunday morning, leaving a teenager dead and two men wounded in a wild spray of bullets that ended with a shooter trying to finish the job at a nearby hospital.
"What a gun battle," a police source told the Daily News. "They have been watching too much TV."

Police and paramedics raced to E. 93rd St. in East Flatbush around 1:20 a.m. Cops found evidence of a running gun battle with at least 46 shell casings dotting about half the block beginning at Avenue B.

Two guns were recovered.

As the smoke cleared on E. 93rd St., someone helped a 32-year-old man into a car and raced him to Brookdale University Hospital

When the shooting victim got out of the car at the hospital, another vehicle rolled up and someone inside started firing.

Police sources said he was hit at least once at the hospital. Emergency workers put him into an ambulance and carted him off to Kings County Hospital where he's listed in critical condition. Police said he was shot in the leg and groin.

A 22-year-old man who was shot in the leg. He flagged down and ambulance and was taken to Brookdale University Hospital, where he's in stable condition.

A 17-year-old boy died at the scene.

Police canvassed the block, but have not reported an arrest.

"I was outside about to leave with my son and we came in to say my goodbyes," said a woman who was leaving a party near the crime scene. "And then I heard the shots. So many shots."
