He’s definitely not saying sorry.
The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, 26, seems to taunt Justin Bieber, the ex of his new girlfriend Selena Gomez, in a new track called "Some Way" with artist Nav.
The Weeknd provided guest vocals on the song, and fans quickly discovered that he might be talking to someone in particular.
"I think your girl, think your girl, fell in love with me,” he sings in the first verse. “She say my f--k and my tongue game a remedy.”
The chorus of the song finds The Weeknd singing, “I just took that chick, and I know you feelin’ some way / She just want a ni--- like me, you feelin’ some way.”
Nav gets in on the action, too, singing, “The brown boy and the Starboy on a track / Haters gonna say this s--t is wack.”
“Wack” — the word choice is very deliberate — as Bieber, 22, has described The Weeknd’s music as such.
The feud began after it became obvious that the 26-year-old was dating the popular singer, Gomez, 24.
In an Instagram chat during the Grammys (the artist boycotted the show), Bieber told fans that a favorite song of his was The Weeknd’s “Starboy” — only to laugh and dismiss the statement.
“We gotta end it now. That was too funny,” Bieber laughed.
Although up for awards at the Grammys, Bieber skipped them, calling the affair “pointless.”
The singer, known for songs like “Sorry,” “Baby” and “Boyfriend,” told TMZ last month that he “can’t listen to” a Weeknd song, because “that’s just wack.”
