The O'Jays File A $1 Million Lawsuit Against Crown Royal For Their Commercial Featuring Big K.R.I.T.

Soul music stars The O’Jays have filed a lawsuit against Crown Royal over the use of their hit song ‘For the Love of Money’. They say they were humiliated by the advertisement which features Big K.R.I.T. rapping over the song. They called K.R.I.T. “a poser with limited ability to carry a tune” who performed a “self-aggrandizing childish rap.” They are seeking more than a million dollars in damages.
