THE HIGHLIGHT OF SUMMER JAM IS WHEN DJ KHALED BROUGHT CAM'RON OUT!

One of the most anticipated moments of Hot 97's Summer Jam concert on Sunday night was one that was unadvertised, though all the fans felt it was a foregone conclusion: the reunion of the New York rap giants the Diplomats.

Juelz Santana was on the bill with his first solo set, but instead of bringing out the members of his unit, he brought out the youngest member of the G-Unit, Lloyd Banks. They made for one of the strongest moments of the night with their smash "Beamer, Benz or Bentley." But what happened to the Dip's reunion? One source close to their camp said Jim Jones had some issues with security and police and was not granted entrance in the new Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Freekey Zekey and Cam'ron came out later in the night as part of DJ Khaled's show-stealing set. Hot 97 advertised that Khaled would be bringing out "friends," and no one knew what to expect. Well, if you follow the Miami multi-tasking, up-and-coming mogul, you would have to suspect that he'd bring out Rick Ross. The two down-bottom mayors are thicker than Starsky and Hutch. Plus, Ross and Khaled did interviews together on Hot 97 earlier in the day.

Khaled's set started with his "All I Do Is Win" remix. Rolling deeper than two football teams, Khaled paraded out T-Pain (who sang the hook) and Busta Rhymes, who unleashed one of the most stylistically bulletproof verses of the year.

Ross and Ludacris took the spotlight over on the "I'm So Hood" remix, and Busta regained the reins on his fresh new bopper "Stop the Party." Rick Ross saluted the playas with "Super High" then continued with the "Angels" remix and his new club stomper "Blowin' Money Fast (B.M.F.)." Fat Joe got a big ovation for his entrance, which was on "Ha Ha (Slow Down Son)."

"You think I'm dead?" Khaled then asked the crowd. Just then, the unforgettable bass line of Shyne's "Bad Boyz" came on. The legendary Barrington Levy came out with his reggae scatting and then sang his famous part from Shyne's throwback anthem.

"Man a Bad Boy on the corner/ So move from on here, 'cause we a dangerous/ Man a Bad Boy on the corner./ So move from on here, 'cause we a dangerous."

The most thunderous yells of the night came next. It was a loud, barbaric, Summer Jam moment when the Dips' King Jaffe Joffer came from behind the wall of humanity Khaled had on the stage for the group's "I Really Mean It."

"Y'all n---as dreamed it/ I have seen it/ Body warm, heart anemic," Cam'ron rapped.

"I really mean it," the crowd answered back with adoration.

"Coke, a n---a steamed it/ Fiends I leaned 'em/ Beamer leaned it."

"I really mean it!" the stadium roared back.

Cam then handed the mic to his new first-round draft pick Vado. The two performed "Speakin Tungs."

You can't sleep on young superstar Trey Songz now. Before Khaled's set, the Virginia native held down the stage supremely, all by himself.

The ladies screamed for Trey like he was the black Elvis when he sang songs like "Invented Sex."

"I am the panty dropper," he rapped right before "Neighbors." "Come and see your doctor/ ... The pleasure, the pain, neighbors know my name."

His shirt came off shortly after.

"Imagine this stage was a room," he told the ladies. "There was a bed right here. Imagine your body pushed up against the wall like that. ... Is it all right if I touch you?"

Songz then pretended to have a woman in his warm embrace. "You taste so sweet," he said before he started grinding.

He later brought a real woman onto the stage. As he held her from behind, he told her to open her mouth wide, which she did, and poured bottled water down her throat. This led to "Say Aah."

"Go girl, it's your birthday, open wide. I know you thirsty," the stadium sang along with him.

"Summer Jam is an experience. I went from 500 people to performing with 60,000," Songz told MTV News backstage as he stood next to Busta Rhymes.

"Stop that humble sh--," Buss implored. "You can talk crazy. That's OK."

Busta declared that he was the Trey Songz ambassador. "I'mma keep it 100," he said. "Ain't nobody f---in' with Trey Songz. It is what it is. I put a lot of money where my mouth is. ... I saw it myself, 60,000 tonight. The big homie had the prime slot and he flattened the building."

Usher had the closing spot of the night. The Grammy winner came straight from London to perform. His set showed his range as he rolled out a modest portion of his catalog. Ursh sang about home-wrecking threesomes with bisexual women on "Lil' Freak" then went to being blown away by cupid's arrow on his closer, the summer smash "OMG."

If leaving the crowd wanting more is the goal in show business, the Drake certainly accomplished his mission. Drizzy's set was well shy of an hour, giving him enough time to perform a few of his own hits like "Over" and "Forever" and bring out guests the Birdman and Nicki Minaj. Nicki had to be considered an MVP for the night. Besides Drake's set, she came out with Ludacris for "My Chick Bad" and Usher for the aforementioned "Lil' Freak."

Gucci Mane, Reflection Eternal and Fabolous all also performed with their own sets.
