The Game surprised fans with the release of his new star-studded album, The Documentary III on which he appears to take aim at K.Dot multiple times throughout. Perhaps the most notable perceived diss comes on the song "LA Monster," which suggests that Game wasn’t too impressed with Kendrick's Grammy Award-winning album, GNX which was seen as a victory lap after he came out on top of the feud with Drake in 2024. I ain’t got no problem with the boogeyman / And he ain’t got a problem with me 'cause I’m the LA monster," Games raps on the chorus, seemingly referencing Kendrick Lamar dubbing himself the "certified boogeyman" on his chart-topping Drake diss, "Not Like Us." "You can ask the boy who the man is / Shit get scandalous, he know I’m the LA monster / I might drive the Rolls today / The GNX scare the hoes away ‘cause it’s an LA monster." Hours before the arrival of The Documentary III, DJ Akademiks previewed "No Brakes," a new track on the album that features Drake on the hook, perhaps showing where Game's loyalty lies. "Me, Drake and a Draco, we the Three Amigos," Game raps on the song. "N***a said pick a side, then I’m picking homicide. On the song "The Pen," The Game name-drops Kendrick, and seemingly in a positive way. "They saying I’m beefing with Kendrick, how the fuck do that sound?” he raps. "'Cause I’m feeling like 50 when he made 'Back Down'.
