With fears of a possible “Zombie Apocalypse” growing, the feds have been forced to deny that the undead are real.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention made it clear in a statement that flesh-eating, undead creatures definitely don’t exist.

“CDC does not know of a virus or condition that would reanimate the dead (or one that would present zombie-like symptoms),” CDC spokesman David Daigle wrote to the Huffington Post on Thursday.

Two recent cannibal attacks in Maryland and Florida have the Internet buzzing with talk of the undead feasting on the living.

Baltimore college student Alex Kinyua, 21, used a knife to kill Kujoe Bonsafo Agyei-Kodie, 37, and sliced him up, eating parts of his heart and brain, reports said.

Pictures emerged Friday of the Morgan State University student’s face covered in camouflage face paint, adding a bizarre twist to the story.

In Florida, Rudy Eugene was shot dead by police last Saturday when he wouldn’t stop eating Ronald Poppo’s face. Poppo, the Daily News later reported, is a graduate of Manhattan’s Stuyvesant High School.
