The price of one of the new handbags from the Olsen twins' designer brand The Row will have you seeing double.

The black crocodile backpack will set you back almost forty grand.

"I think if you were every going to spend $39,000 on a bag, that's the bag you should buy because I think you'd wear it for a really long time," Amanda Brooks, the fashion director for Barneys New York, which is carrying the line of bags, told Style.com. "There's enough design to make it interesting and beautiful but they truly are classic bags–and I think you also might be the only one who has it."

Except for the fact that two people have already pre-ordered the outrageous exotic-skin bags.

Brooks told Fashionista that she's truly excited about carrying the line of super-pricy bags – something ultra luxurious that will still appeal to a younger crowd.

"Obviously we don't carry Hermes bags in the store so we were trying to find something that appeals to that customer who is willing to spend a lot of money on a bag that's going to last a long time and has a classic design," she said.

The designer backpack, another trend from the 1990s, seems to be making a return.

Lady Gaga was spotted wearing a mini backpack in Japan earlier this month.
