Young Money’s teen idol cut part of his trademark hair during a live Ustream session with his fans.

“I’m getting rid of this Mohawk. The Mohawk is like six years old. It’s been having so much swag for so many years, but now it’s time to switch it up,” said the 18-year-old rapper before his barber brought out the clippers.

He called his mother and comforted his fans by saying, “Don’t cry you guys. I love you. It can always grow back.”

The Mohawk garnered special attention from Beyoncé, who once told Twist, “I love your Mohawk.”

Twist’s manager Cortez and singer Khalil were there to witness the moment as he collected the hair off the floor. Don’t be surprised if you see it up for auction on eBay next week.
