Teddy Swims Reveals He Got His Eyelids Tattooed To Be 'Cool Like Lil Wayne'

Teddy Swims the "Bad Dreams" singer sat down with Bobbi Althoff for an interview on her Not This Again podcast. At one point, Swims discussed his tattooed eyelids, admitting that the reason he got them was because of Weezy F. Baby, who’s been a tattoo fanatic for decades. "I’m a huge Lil Wayne fan, and he had the 'Fear of God' on his stuff," Swims said "Tha Carter 3 changed my life when I was in the ninth grade, and I was like, I have to get my eyelids tattooed. "It was just to be cool like Lil Wayne, to be honest," he concluded. Swims previously spoke about his eyelid tattoos and their connection to Lil Wayne on the Club Shay Shay podcast earlier this year. "Tha Carter III was like my favorite album… Lil Wayne had the 'Fear God,' and I just wanted to be like Lil Wayne. All I ever wanted to do was get my eyelids tattooed. He’s f*cking cool, man," Swims said at the time.
