Teairra Mari May Face Felony Charge From DUI Arrest

“Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” star and singer Teairra Mari is staring at the possibility of having her recent drunk driving charge upgraded to a felony, TMZ reports. Teairra, as she is mostly known by, was busted by the NYPD last month on DUI charges after officers apprehended her in Queens driving a car that was screeching due to the fact one tire was missing and the front end was dragging on the concrete. It would seem that she had been involved in an accident prior to getting busted for driving while intoxicated, although police have not confirmed that suspicion. The problem here is the fact that Teairra, 31, had already been busted by the LAPD for drunk driving in Los Angeles back in 2011, which led to a conviction. In this latest police stop, Teairra was reportedly reeking of alcohol and failed a sobriety test. She was also cited for driving without a valid driver’s license. As a result of the previous DUI conviction, prosecutors are seriously considering upgrading her charges. SOURCE
