TDE’s Punch, Peter Rosenberg React To Andrew Schulz Doubling Down On Kendrick Lamar Jokes

Andrew Schulz joked about Black women in August, specifically how they “complain about sh*t all the f**king time” and physically harm their white boyfriends. K. Dot seemingly addressed this on the GNX opener “wacced out murals” when he rapped “Don’t let no white comedian talk about no Black women—that’s law.” Schulz reportedly responded via DJ Akademiks, asking, “Is this guy too woke to understand a joke? He doubled down during the latest episode of Flagrant and addressed Hip-Hop as a whole. “Rappers are telling comedians we need to be more respectful to women, so we gotta really, we gotta sit back and reflect,” he said sarcastically. “Nobody has respected women more, through art, than rappers,” he added before quoting Dr. Dre’s 1992 hit “Bi**hes Ain’t Sh*t.” Andrew Schulz continued by reminding his viewers that Kendrick Lamar will be working on a film with South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, a show notorious for making racist jokes about everyone. His co-host Akaash Singh also recalled reports that the Compton rapper threatened to remove his music from Spotify if they censored R. Kelly’s content, which in actuality was a threat made by Terrence “Punch” Henderson in recognition of the Hate Content & Hateful Conduct Policy. Singh also added that Lamar has worked with Chis Brown, to which Schulz sarcastically asked “Are you saying he’s done songs with other men who have potentially put hands on Black women?” Later in his rant, he spoke about the Pulitzer Prize winner’s size and said that he would not be able to stop anyone who wanted to have sex with him, himself included. That last part drew Punch’s curiosity, who tweeted “Wait… wait… I know as a Blackman [sic] who’s involved in Hip Hop Music, that we are a bit slow and don’t really understand sarcasm and humor. But did my guy say he want to sleep with Dot??” Peter Rosenberg tweeted “Kendrick calls out schulz for running down black women…more specifically the dudes who let it happen unchecked schulz responds by saying ‘oh cuz rappers are so pro women. The Hot 97 host didn’t stop there, either. “Schulz is no different than Bill Oreilly,” he wrote. “Acting like K dot is 2 live crew.. it is a nonsensical response and shows schulz doesnt actually like or understand hip hop… please hear me…not all white guys are built the same..for some of us black culture is not wacky fodder or a means to an end.
