Tatyana Ali Announces Her Engagement And A Baby On The Way

Little Ashley Banks from “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” is all grown up with a baby on the way.

Tatyana Ali is expecting her first child with her beau of over a year, Dr. Vaughn Rasberry, and revealed to Entertainment Tonight that her mom-to-be status isn’t the only change in her life this year.

The 37-year-old is set to walk down the aisle with Rasberry this summer, she dished to the site.

“Planning our wedding has been so exciting, but when we found out we were expecting, our perspective shifted completely," she said.

“We want our ceremony to really celebrate our newest blessing!” the former child star added.

Vaughn popped the question to Ali in what she called a “perfect proposal."

“He took me on a 45-minute hike in the Redwoods, which he knows I absolutely love and he proposed in the most picturesque clearing. Just the two of us,” she recalled.

“It was so thoughtful and perfect. We’re best friends,” she continued.

Ali’s growing family is the product of a love story that began through online dating over a year and a half ago.

“Vaughn and I met on eHarmony!" the bride-to-be explained. "It was my first time dating online. We wrote letters for months before we decided to Skype. And then, of course, met.”
