Tamar Braxton Clears Up Rumors About Her Marriage

Tamar Braxton is working with her ex Vince Herbert to make their post-split relationship work.

“I have a regular marriage and like everyone else, things happen,” she said while guest co-hosting “The View” on Friday when asked about her high-profile breakup from music exec Herbert. “In my marriage it was just to a point where I felt like divorce was the only option that I had left.”

Their 2017 split has stayed in the headlines as Braxton, 40, accused Herbert, 44, of getting another woman pregnant in a since-deleted Instagram rant.

Herbert, who was in the audience, was invited to the table and denied all allegations against him.

When “View” co-host Joy Behar asked him, “Is there a bun in the oven in some other woman?” Herbert said, “Absolutely not.”

“All of the other allegations are just not true,” he added. “I love this lady with all my heart, I love my family with all my heart and I will never stop fighting for my family and trying to make it be great.”

Braxton believes him because their split is said and done, although they are attending counseling as they focus on raising their young son.

“At this point I believe that he doesn’t have anything to lie about, I’m already gone, I’m already divorced,” she said.

“The bigger picture is that we have a responsibility to my amazing 4-year-old son and just to raise him in the most comfortable amazing secure household that we can. That’s why we don’t live together,” the singer told the show’s co-hosts.

And when asked if there was chance for reconciliation, Herbert said, “Absolutely.”

However, Braxton was a bit more hesitant.

“It’s OK not to know, we still work together and we do work together well and so that’s one thing that I feel like we can def sustain and thats something we’ve been able to sustain as well as our connection and our responsibility of being parents to Logan.”
