T-Pain Pays Brother's Medical Bills Totaling $1.4M

For T-Pain, money is no object when it comes to the well-being of his family.

On Wednesday, the Tallahassee, Florida-born rapper and singer shared the staggering bill from his brother’s hospital stays totaling $1,402,977.

“I first wanna say thank you to all the ppl that were involved in keeping my brother alive,” he wrote.

“I can’t express enough gratitude to the medical staff that kept my family whole,” T-Pain, 33, explained. “My brother was in two hospitals for a total of a month and some change. Just got the bills.”

T-Pain, whose real name is Faheem Rashad Najm, didn’t share an update on his brother’s condition or what drove up such expensive bills.

It’s been a rocky year for the “Buy U a Drank” singer. In February, he sued a booking agency for $27,000. Then in September, he was detained at an airport after security spotted his handgun. He faced no charges as his guns are registered in his name, but had to pay a $200 fine.
