Maino doesn’t need to hit the mixtape scene anymore. The Brooklyn native made his name on the underground by blitzing every mix tape from Clue to Kay Slay. With his debut album “Tomorrow Never Comes” ready to hit stores next week and 2 singles in the Billboard Top 100, Maino is now ready to introduce the world to his crew, Black Flag City.

Along with NYC’s own Superstar J, Maino brings the world to “Black Flag City: The New Religion” Consisting of Maino, Push Montana, Mouse, Pesci, Ace and Bashan, they put together a 20 song set that showcase the skills of all the members.

The CD opens up with the banging “Welcome to Black Flag City” featuring Maino, Push Montana and Mouse. From there its an all out assault on the industry and industry thugs alike. Joints like “What’s Poppin My G”, “Money in the Bank” and “Fucking with that Black Flag” show you why Maino choose to roll with these young spitters.

While Mouse and Push Montana make their presence felt, it takes the other artists a minute to really distinguish themselves over the CD. You can hear the potential in each member, but for right now they fall a lap or two behind Maino who makes an appearance on 12 out of the 20 songs on the disc.
