Boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard was sexually abused by a coach when he was a young fighter, his new tell-all says.
An unnamed "prominent Olympic boxing coach" abused him twice during the 1970s, the New York Times reported.
The first time was in 1971 when the 15-year-old Leonard was competing in a tournament in Utica, N.Y.
The second took place several years later when he and the coach were sitting in a car discussing Leonard's prospects at the 1976 Olympics, the memoir said.
"The Big Fight: My Life In and Out of the Ring," is slated to come out next month.
