‘Straight Outta Compton’ Star Arrested For ‘Beating Up’ A Security Guard

The actor who portrayed rap mogul Suge Knight in the movie “Straight Outta Compton” was taken straight to jail after a cop saw him beat up a security guard at a tony Miami resort, police said.

The officer saw Richard M. Taylor, 40, “pick the victim up and slam him to the ground” after the Marenas Beach Resort called for help, saying the actor was in the lobby menacing the guard, according to a copy of the report obtained by The Post.

Taylor –- who played the infamous rapper now awaiting trial on a murder charge — was charged with misdemeanor battery and is being held at Miami-Dade jail.

A worker who answered the phone at the hotel told The Post the security guard was roughed up but “will live.”

The incident started when Taylor – who has been posting Instagram shots of his beach vacation under his handle r.marcostaylor – was told by the guard to take his foot off a table in the lobby, police said.

The Plainfield, NJ, resident told the guard to “leave him alone,” according to the report, but the guard told the front desk to call the police.

Taylor stayed in his chair for about five minutes, then got up, walked over the guard and pushed him in the chest, according to surveillance video.

By the time cops arrived, the two had to be physically separated, according to the report.

On his IMDB page, Taylor lists himself as an actor, stuntman, fitness trainer and martial-arts instructor. Aside from his role in the 2015 critically acclaimed “Straight Outta Compton,” Taylor also appears in the Netflix show “Luke Cage” and the upcoming flick “Baby Driver.”
