“Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" star Steven (Stevie J) Jordan called allegations he's a deadbeat dad "bulls--t" on Monday.
The "Mo Money Mo Problems" producer and co-writer, who pleaded not guilty in February 2015 to charges that he owes $1 million in child support to two of his kids, made the comment as he was leaving a hearing for his upcoming Manhattan federal court trial.
"This case is bulls--t," Stevie J, who earns $27,000 per month for his role on the VH1 show, told reporters outside the courtroom.
He said he has provided everything he is supposed to provide for his family, and feels he'll win when the case goes to trial in December.
“I take great care of my kids,” he said. “I love my children.”
Stevie J didn't detail what's in store for the show — saying only that viewers should expect surprises — but he's not worried the case will impact production.
"It's part of my life," he said, "So it's gonna fit in, you know, where it fits in."
