Steve Harvey‘s daytime talk show “Steve” will end in June.
According to Page Six, NBCUniversal was no longer going to distribute the show after it had picked up Kelly Clarkson’s new talk show and scheduled it in Harvey’s slot.
A separate source said “Steve” taped its final show on Thursday. New episodes will air through June and then repeats will air until September. We’re told Harvey, 62, is exploring his options in the digital and cable space.
Harvey’s wife, Marjorie, posted a photo on Instagram from Thursday’s taping.
“kiss before the last show #harveys,” she wrote.
Harvey entered the daytime talk sphere in 2012 with “The Steve Harvey Show,” which was co-produced with Endemol Shine North America. Once his deal with Endemol was up in 2016, he signed with IMG Original Content to create a new iteration of the show in Los Angeles, which was titled “Steve.” It premiered in 2017.
