Stephen Curry is making history off the court. The four-time NBA champion has been named assistant general manager for basketball programs at his alma mater, Davidson College—becoming the first active athlete to take on such an administrative role at the NCAA level. Curry will work alongside Davidson GM Austin Buntz to help guide the men’s and women’s basketball teams. His involvement extends beyond strategy, as he and his wife, Ayesha, are teaming up with Davidson boosters and fellow alum Matt Berman—also named an assistant GM—to launch an ambitious eight-figure fund supporting the program. The initiative reflects Curry’s deep ties to the school where he became a breakout star and his growing influence in shaping the game’s future, both on and off the court.
