Stabbing Leaves Nicki Minaj Team Member Dead & Another Wounded In Philadelphia

A member of Nicki Minaj's team was stabbed to death in a bar fight in Philadelphia early Wednesday, the singer Tweeted.

The "Anaconda" singer said a second member of her team survived, whom she identified as "Eric" but with critical stab wounds, according to a local report.

"Two members of my team were stabbed last night in Philly. One was killed. They had only been there for two days rehearsing for the tour," she tweeted.

"Unbelievable," she captioned a photo of the two men on Instagram. "Another senseless act of violence that took the life of a great guy. So sad."

TMZ identified the slain victim as De'Von Pickett who was a stage hand for Minaj.

According to NBC Philadelphia, the violence sprawled into the street outside of Che Bar & Grill around 2:30 a.m.

An unidentified man, described as around 30-years of age, reportedly pulled out the knife before fatally slashing a 29-year-old victim. The second victim, identified as 27-years of age, suffered multiple stab wounds to his side.

"We believe he is going to survive his injuries," Chief inspector Scott Small told NBC.
