SPIKE JONZE TO DIRECT JAY Z & KANYE'S "OTIS" VIDEO

Spike Jonze is set to direct the video for "Otis," the latest single from Jay-Z and Kanye West's upcoming album, "Watch the Throne."

Jonze gained notoriety in the music world during the '90s as a music video director for the likes of Beastie Boys, Weezer and Puff Daddy.

He later went on to direct feature films including the adaptation of Maurice Sendak's much beloved "Where the Wild Things Are."

In recent years, Jonze has directed videos for West's hit "Flashing Lights" as well as the Beastie Boys' latest single, "Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win."

"Watch the Throne" is the first full album collaboration for Jay-Z and Kanye West, who have titled their new super group "The Throne."

Referencing soul singer Otis Ray Redding and sampling his song "Try a Little Tenderness," "Otis" will be the first video from the rap greats' new album.

"Watch the Throne" is due in stores Monday.
