Soulja Boy Sued By Ex Who Claims She Miscarried After He Abused Her

Soulja Boy is being sued for sexual battery and domestic abuse by an anonymous ex-girlfriend who claims his behavior caused her to miscarry.

Identifying herself as Jane Doe, the woman claims in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday and obtained by Page Six that she and the “Crank That” rapper, 30, began an on-again, off-again relationship in 2007 and became more serious from 2014 to 2019 before she could “no longer stand the abuse.”

In the legal documents, Doe claims that Soulja Boy — born DeAndre Cortez Way — attacked her so violently in 2015 that she suffered a miscarriage, and she subsequently had to undergo a procedure to remove her uterine lining.

In August 2018, Soulja Boy allegedly “began to physically attack and yell at her” while filming a reality TV series. Night vision cameras captured the alleged attack on film, and the WE tv network aired the episode in early 2019, according to the complaint.

Doe moved out of her shared home with Soulja Boy in 2019 after he allegedly had her her daughter physically removed, the lawsuit claims. Soulja Boy then tried to convince Doe to get back together with him, but when she declined, he allegedly “gripped [Doe’s] neck and choked her while threatening her life.”

In addition to the claims of physical violence, Doe alleged that Soulja Boy engaged in sexual violence. She claimed that if she declined the “Donk” rapper’s sexual advances, he would subject her to “physical assault.”

Doe is suing Soulja Boy for domestic violence, negligence, sexual battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent infliction of emotional distress and gender violence.

Soulja Boy has had various legal problems over the years, including being arrested for violating his probation stemming from a firearm possession conviction.

Earlier this year, Soulja Boy denied sexually assaulting a former assistant who claimed that he was repeatedly abusive.

“Soulja would never put his hands on a female,” his rep said in a statement to TMZ at the time. “He wouldn’t beat a woman or put his hands on a woman…. This is non-sense!!!”
