Soulja Boy better start cranking out those rent checks.
The “Crank That” singer is behind on rent for his Atlanta pad and was served with an eviction notice, TMZ.com reported.
He has to cough up $4,725 for November and another $4,725 for December or risk getting the boot, TMZ said.
The rapper’s housing headache comes on the heels of his October arrest in Georgia on charges of possession of drugs & guns.
Soulja Boy, 21, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, and four other men were booked into jail Oct. 18 after a routine traffic stop uncovered a “substantial" amount of marijuana, handguns and tens of thousands of dollars in cash inside the group's black Cadillac Escalade, cops said.
“It's a federal investigation now,” said a source at the police department in Temple, Ga., where Soulja Boy got pinched. The source noted that officials from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms “called this week inquiring about coming out to speak to our officers.”
A call to Soulja Boy's lawyer was not immediately returned.
The Atlanta performer also took some heat recently for the anti-military song “Let's Be Real.”
He quickly apologized for lyrics that dissed “the FBI and the army troops” and pulled the song from his upcoming album.
