Solange Knowles Business Partner Critically Stabbed

Solange Knowles' business and creative partner is reportedly fighting for her life after she was stabbed 10 times outside her New Orleans home, prompting the “Losing You” singer to fly to her side, a spokesperson told the Daily News.

Armina Mussa, 24, who is the project director for the singer's brand, Saint Heron, was allegedly slashed by 26-year-old Aaronesia Christophe after Mussa yelled at her to leave, the Times-Picayune reported.

Christophe, who was booked for attempted second-degree murder and aggravated battery, told police she was only acting in self-defense when she repeatedly knifed Mussa.

"We're just friends, why do I have to leave?" she allegedly told Mussa just before things turned violent, according to the police report.

After disobeying Mussa's orders she said she was grabbed by her hair and pulled to the ground where she was pummeled.

To defend herself she said she pulled out a folding knife.

"(Christophe) stated she did not think she had stabbed the victim due to the harder thrown punches that she received from the victim," an officer wrote in her report.

It was only when Mussa stepped back and exclaimed, "you stabbed me," that she realized the injuries she had caused, the report stated.

A rep for Solange, who is Beyoncé's younger sister, told the News that the singer was not in New Orleans at the time of the attack but upon receiving word she "immediately" booked a flight.

"Solange immediately departed Los Angeles and flew to New Orleans to be with Armina and Armina’s family at the hospital and has been there since," the spokesperson said.

Her stay included attending Christophe's first court appearance Thursday.
