Wrong number, dude!
In an errant attempt to score some weed, a teenager in Helena, Montana hit a wrong digit on his cell phone and instead sent a text message the local sheriff.
The 16-year-old sent the following text to Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton:
"Hey Dawg, do you have a $20 I can buy right now?"
Dutton then instructed a detective, posing as a pot dealer, to set up a meeting at a local store.
After spotting two teens at the location, the detective called the number three times to make sure he had the right juveniles.
According to Sheriff Dutton, one of the teenagers fainted after the detective showed his badge.
No charges have been filed against the alleged stoners after their parents got involved -- but they might be grounded for a while.
