The upcoming Snoop Dogg biopic Snoop has filled the role of Dr. Dre, casting BMF actor Myles Bullock Be. The 35-year-old actor joins Outer Banks star Jonathan Daviss, who was confirmed as Snoop Dogg himself back in June 2025. The casting reunites Bullock Be with director Craig Brewer, who previously worked with him on the 2024 Peacock miniseries Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, which also starred Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, and Samuel L. Jackson. Brewer also wrote the latest draft of the script, picking up from an initial version penned by Joe Robert Cole. Bullock Be confirmed the news himself, reposting The Hollywood Reporter's story to Instagram and writing: "LA Kid playing an LA Legend, @snoopdogg @jonathandavissofficial let's get it! #mamaimadeit." Bullock Be's other credits include 20th Century's White Men Can't Jump, and the Marvel series Runaways. He is currently in production as a series lead on Hulu's Prison Break: Black Creek. Snoop Dogg and Death Row Pictures president Sara Ramaker are producing alongside Brian Grazer and Allan Mandelbaum of Imagine Entertainment. Snoop is also the first project under Death Row Pictures' overall deal with NBCUniversal Entertainment.
