Snoop Dogg and Tamar Braxton are hitting the stage together.
The rap legend, 46, and the R&B songbird, 41, are teaming up for a new play called “Redemption of a Dogg.”
“So me and uncle @SnoopDogg is going on tour singing, acting, rapping and being who are,” Braxton beamed on Instagram.
Dogg also promoted the play, in production with Je’Caryous Johnson, on his social media accounts.
The play, set against Snoop’s own music catalog, takes a close look at the struggle one man faces when he’s forced to choose between fame and fortune or faith and family.
Dogg and Braxton plan to take it across the country making various stops in Brooklyn, Atlanta, Memphis, Detroit and Norfolk, Virginia.
The first show kicks off in Houston, beginning October 5 and running through the 7th.
The news is a welcomed headline for Braxton, who in the last several months has been negatively spotlighted. Not only was she was publicly “ridiculed” by a Delta Airlines pilot, she’s also going through a divorce with Vincent Herbert.
