A sex-starved brute in California killed his girlfriend's puppy by slamming it against a wall after she refused to sleep with him, police said.
Daniel Baxter, 30, was arrested and charged with animal cruelty after his girlfriend's red-nosed pitbull, Fiesty, was put to sleep by veterinarians who said the baby pup would have been maimed for life.
Baxter's girlfriend, Charlotte Greene, told police in Stockton, Calif., that her now ex-beau was coming off an all-night drinking binge when he came home at 5 a.m. on Sunday and demanded sex, KTXL television reported.
When she refused, Baxter attacked her 2-month-old pit bull, cops said.
"He woke her too hard, punched her and threw her against the wall. I told him to stop and then ran to the bathroom and started crying," Greene told the station.
Greene said cops showed up after she called the paramedics and took the dog to an emergency vet.
The poor pooch was put to sleep after the vet determined that broken bones and severe brain trauma would have left her unable to walk.
Baxter was facing parole-violation charges in addition to the animal cruelty charge, the station reported.
Green said she was devastated by the loss and couldn't think about replacing her baby pit bull.
"I just want him to get help, like anger management or a program for him to stop drinking," Greene said.
