SiR confirmed that the Toronto stop, scheduled for Tuesday from his Life Is Good Tour has been cancelled—and yes, he’s blaming Drake. After ScHoolboy Q‘s Toronto show got cancelled earlier this month, a fan predicted that SiR’s show would also be cancelled. To which the crooner replied on Twitter/X, “My s**t ain’t cancelled.” Earlier today, SiR retracted that sentiment by tweeting, “This s**t didn’t age well at all….He then tweeted, “So sorry to my Toronto fans. The show has been cancelled. We’re working on rescheduling for a later date.” ScHoolboy essentially told him to perform anyway. “HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAA TAKE YO A** HOME BOY.. SING ON THE BUS ITS OVA WIT,” the rapper tweeted. This caused SiR to quip, “They DON’T like us,” referring to Kendrick Lamar‘s chart-topping Drake-aimed diss track, “Not Like Us.” SiR later clarified that the sold-out show was cancelled by the venue. “For those wondering, we sold that show out. It was cancelled by the venue. Not sure why. My apologies again to those that came just to see me,” he explained. His Toronto show was set to be held at History, a live music venue co-owned by Live Nation and Drake that opened in 2021. When the announcement of the new venue was released, the Take Care rapper didn’t make a statement on the opening, but Riley O’Connor, Chairman, Live Nation Canada, said, “We are thrilled to bring History to life in Toronto with live entertainment that we know will elevate the city’s concert-going experience. We can’t wait for both fans and artists alike to experience our newest destination music venue. Now, because of K. Dot and Drizzy’s beef, SiR is getting trolled and cussing out all his haters over the cancelled show, as many feel the Canadian rapper is attempting to ban TDE from performing in Toronto.
