Incarcerated rapper Lil Boosie was indicted yesterday (July 14), as authorities are alleging the Baton Rouge emcee smuggled codeine into Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola, where he is currently housed.
In May, two other men were charged along with Boosie of attempting to sneak codeine into the prison. The other men, Titus Franklin and Arthur Stewart, were indicted along with Boosie.
Bad Azz now faces, "one count of criminal conspiracy to take contraband to and from a penal institution and another count of inciting a felony.”
A conviction on the charges could lead to an additional two to four years to Boosie's prison stint. He is currently serving time for a drug charge and awaiting trial for first-degree murder.
