What happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas – especially not a hotel wedding.
Faith Evans and Stevie J. tied the knot in their Las Vegas hotel room Tuesday night after filing for a license in Clark County that same day, TMZ reports.
“I love you Faith Renee Jordan,” Stevie, 46, wrote on Twitter early Wednesday, to which his bride responded, “I love you back Steven Aaron Jordan.”
This is the first marriage for the famed producer, who, as part of Diddy’s Hitmen collective, is responsible for hits like “Honey” by Mariah Carey and the Notorious B.I.G.’s posthumous hit “Mo Money Mo Problems.”
Evans, 45, was married to Biggie from 1994 until his death in 1997. She later split from producer Todd Russaw in 2011 after 13 years of marriage.
Evans and the “Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta” star reportedly split last year, but rekindled their romance before making it official.
“I’ve known her for like 25 years,” Stevie told The Breakfast Club in 2016. “We was like family and then as years progressed, we just began to hang out more [and] talk more.”
The two are set to release joint single “A Minute” later this month, with Stevie recently teasing a sensual music video on his Instagram account.
Stevie settled a nasty custody battle in April with ex-girlfriend Joseline Hernandez, who sarcastically wished her former flame a “happy honeymoon” in a self-professed “petty” Instagram post.
Hernandez shared a text conversation from a man presumed to be Stevie that featured the unidentified man asking her to marry him.
