Carly Rose Sonenclar isn’t the only person who lost on “The X Factor” Thursday night.
Also X-ed out was show creator Simon Cowell, according to TMZ.com, which reported he lost a $20,000 bet when Country Western singer Tate Stevens won.
Simon and L.A. Reid bet that if either of the judges’ contestants won the contest — and a $5 million recording contract — the loser would pay $20,000, TMZ said. Reid’s contestant beat favorite Sonenclar, of Mamaroneck, breaking hearts in New York — but barely nicking Cowell’s bank account.
