SHE'S A BAD B!TCH! FEMALE MALAYSIAN TIGER KILLS IT'S MATE!

This tiger is a real black widow, killing the mate with whom her keepers had hoped she would reproduce at the El Paso Zoo Friday.

Seri, a 3-year-old female Malayan tiger, bit down on the neck of Wzui - three years her senior - choking the male tiger hours after the duo were seen nuzzling together at the zoo.

"We did not see any indication this was coming. It took us completely by surprise, the staff is shocked," said Steve Marshal, the El Paso Zoo's director. "We arrived too late."

The killing may be borne from jealousy, as Marshall said Wzui had previously made eyes at another female tiger, Melor, 15, after arriving in El Paso from the Tulsa Zoo nine months ago.
