Shaquille O'Neal has Bieber Fever.
In the oddest coupling in television history, the basketball legend is set to face off on the dance floor with the teen pop star for ABC's "Shaq Vs."
The first season of the big man's reality show saw him competing against other athletes in their chosen fields as a training exercise for his then-upcoming season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
But EW reports that Season 2 will pit O'Neal against non-athletes as well as sports stars. Reported challenges include a cook-off with Rachael Ray and a magic contest against Penn and Teller.
But the big selling point so far has been the Shaq-Bieber dance-off. Bieber, of course, is the tween sensation who has re-popularized the bowl cut and stormed the charts with hits like the Ludacris-assisted "Baby."
The Biebs' moves are well-documented, but whether he can out-dance the Big Aristotle remains to be seen.
Shaq just wrapped up his first season with the Cavs alongside You Know Who, but suffered a thumb injury mid-season that minimized his impact. Diesel's basketball future is uncertain; he is a free agent and has fielded interest from several teams, but no deal has been signed yet.
Depending on the Bieber episode's outcome, Shaq may be able to take his talents to Hollywood to join "Dancing With the Stars."
The second season of "Shaq Vs." premieres August 3 on ABC.
