Shakira is nodding to an appropriately themed 2015 Rihanna classic after her acquittal in a tax fraud case by Spain’s High Court. In an Instagram update shared on the same day news broke that she was poised to receive the equivalent of tens of millions of dollars reimbursed to her by the government, the four-time Grammy winner soundtracked an assortment of photos credited to Nicolas Gerardin with RiRi’s “Bitch Better Have My Money.” Shakira did not elaborate further, and, in fact, did not even bother to include a caption, her song choice was quickly interpreted by fans as a celebration, of sorts, for her recent court victory.
