SERIAL-KILLER HAS ONLINE HOOKERS SCARED!

The serial-killer slayings of four craigslist hookers has unnerved online prostitutes - even though many of the working girls insist they already practice "safe sex."

"It worries me a little bit, but I'm very cautious with who I meet," a 27-year-old hooker nicknamed Miss Caramel told the Daily News. "I screen them before I see them."

Like other online call girls interviewed by The News, Miss Caramel said she took strict precautions even before cops identified the skeletal remains of four women found on Long Island's Gilgo Beach.

She has three unbreakable rules: she never lets the john pick the hookup spot; she has friends wait in a room next door to the rendezvous; and she meets first-time customers in a public place.

"I can see them before they see me," the Brooklyn escort explained.

Some craigslist sex workers go even further. A 30-year-old nicknamed Sweet White Chocolate said she furiously grills potential new customers. "I screen my clients like they're going to be applying for a gun," she said.

Sweet White Chocolate also won't meet johns at hotels, random apartments, or in their cars.

"All those girls that were killed did outcalls," she said. "Even if I did an outcall, I would not go by myself. I'm not that stupid."

Sweet White Chocolate doesn't operate alone. Her "master," a burly man who acts "like my husband," is always with her.

"He's very aggressive," she said.

All four murdered women used craigslist to advertise their services, cops say.

All but one were under 5 feet and about 100 pounds, fueling speculation he's targeting tiny women.

"Everybody's worried about it," said another 31-year-old craigslist sex-for-sale poster. "Everybody's trying to be safe now."

Still, she said she's not particularly concerned because she doesn't fit the profile of the killer's Snooki-sized victims.

"He's working on young, petite girls that can't help themselves - girls like 4 feet," she said. "They're so tiny that you could throw them across the hall."

She said some women are so desperate for work they'll meet anyone, anywhere. "Some girls just take every single guy that calls them," the woman added. "They need to be careful . . . Trust me, I'm not going to sit here and let some killer in."
