Nearly two weeks after the delivery of her first child with fiancé Alexis Ohanian, Serena Williams is giving fans their first glimpse of her baby girl on Instagram.
The award-winning athlete shared a photo of herself with her newborn daughter on her chest.
In the accompanying caption, she confirmed that she named the child Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., after her future hubby.
A YouTube video posted to Williams' website walked fans through the couple's entire pregnancy journey from start to finish.
It ends with a few stats about Williams, 35, and Ohanian's baby girl, revealing that she was born weighing 6 Lbs., 14 Oz.
Williams also credited her infant daughter with winning one grand slam title, referring to the one she won while in the early stages of her pregnancy.
Ohanian Jr. was born on Sept. 1 at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla.
WPBF-25 news producer Chris Shepherd broke the news on Twitter, citing hospital sources.
"Tennis star Serena Williams gives birth to baby girl weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces. Mom and baby doing well," he tweeted.
According to local news outlet CBS 12, Williams was induced on Aug. 31.
Her coach confirmed the news of the baby's arrival on the evening of her birth, congratulating the couple.
"Congratulations @alexisohanian for your baby girl. I have 3 daughters & each time it is the same incredible journey. I am happy for you," Patrick Mouratoglou wrote.
